In Greek mythology and Roman Apolo or Apolón (in Greek Άπόλλων Apóllōn or Απελλων Apellōn), the ideal of the kouros, was a God of the sun, the light, the treatment, music, the prophecy, the arc and the poetry. Apolo was son of Zeus and Leto and twin brother of Artemisa, goddess of the moon and the fighter aircraft. Like prophetic deity of the Oráculo de Delphi, Apolo was one of the most important and multifacéticas Olympic divinities. Apolo was well-known like Aplu in Etruscan mythology, influenced by the Greek. In Roman mythology, especially during century III, it arrived to be identified with Sun, like Apollo HELIOS. File |
