Operation Thunder is the novel of James Bond written by Ian Fleming. It was created in order to adapt it to the cinema, and officially is credited like “cradle in an idea of Kevin McClory Jack Whittingham and Ian Fleming”, a shared credit that has generated much controversy. The novel was published in 1961 and is considered, technically, the first novelización of a cinematographic script of James Bond, although when it was written and published not yet no film had rolled. Shortly after one adapted to comic, in a press strip that began to publish itself in 1961.
