| Computer science is the science that studies the analysis and the resolution of problems using computers;
Another definition podria to consist of the automatic and rational processing of the investigation. Between the missions more popular than it has facilitated this technology are: to draft documents, to send and to receive electronic mail, to draw, to create visual and sonorous effects, maquetación of pamphlets and books, to handle the countable investigation in a company, to reproduce music, to control industrial trials and to play.
The word “Computer science” is a lexical loan of the French informatique, derived from the conjunction of the words information and automatique, to give idea of the source-data automation that is obtained with the computer systems. This word is used mainly in Spain. Computation is used mainly in America, and comes from calculation (or calculation), compatible to the term Computer Science used in the Anglo-Saxon world.
Computer science is an ample field that includes the theoretical foundations, the design, the programming and the use of the computers (computers). The present computers are fruit of the creative activity of the man, to give answer to increasing needs of the company, in relation to the conservation, prosecution and access to colossal levels of information. Some main moments in that trial of development are the following:
§ In century XIX, the mathematician and British inventor Charles Babbage, processes the principles of the modern digital computer.
§ In the decade of years 40 of century XX, is created the first totally electronic digital computer.
§ In the decade of years 80 the microcomputers are created, commonly denominated PC (Computadora Personal).
§ In the decade of years 90 took place an accelerated development of the microprocessors; the first Pentium microprocessors are created consequently and a future generation of microcomputers.

Multiseat or multiposition, also called multiterminal, multi-station, multihead, are the special configuration of a computer to be able to support usuary manifolds working at the same time, each with its own monitor, keyboard, mouse and, optionally, with its own card of sound.
With the increasing increase of capacity of the hardware, as much in processors as memories, plus the vertiginous advance and development of the GNU/Linux systems, more and more robust and of a better handling of the appeals, in a computer a high number of missions can take control without she becomes slow. Nevertheless, when using the standard configuration of a PC, a user can solely use the computer simultaneously, limiting the effectiveness of the system because he remains unemployed person most of the time, maintains its appeals idle.
With the multiput configuration, many users can share the same computer, so an higher percentage of its overall capacity would have been used, having therefore a better advantage of the system. To read more…
