Welcome to the vestibule of the Comic strip of Wikipedia in Spanish. |
Comic strip is called (and in some places also cómic, of English comic, or tebeo, of Spanish magazine TBO) to a series of drawings that constitutes a story, with text or without him, as well as to the book or magazine contain that it. The definition of greater popularity between the specialists is the one of Scott McCloud: “juxtaposed illustrations and other images in deliberate sequence in order to transmit investigation or to obtain an esthetic answer of the reader”.
Comics can be drawn in paper, or be in digital form (e-comic, Webcomics and similars).
Will Eisner in its work “The Cómic and the sequential art” contributed the rightest definition until the appearance of the work of McCloud.
Francis Lacassin has proposed to consider the comic strip like the ninth art.
