Hidamari Sketch

Hidamari Sketch (ひだまりスケッチ, Hidamari Sketch) is a comic strip 4-koma created by Ume Aoki about the everyday lives of a group of girls living in the same apartment where artists arrive. Sleeve was serializada in magazín seinen Sleeve Time Kirara Carat. Yen Press licensed the sleeve for English distribution under the title of Sunshine Sketch. It animates based began to transmit in Japan the 11 of January of the 2007. One second season, call Hidamari Sketch × 365 has been announced for the 2008.

Fill

Hidamari Sketch concentrates in a young called girl Yuno who finally is accepted in the school average Yamabuki (やまぶき高校, Yamabuki Kōkō). In order to arrive at the school, dumb Yuno to a building of small Apartments called Hidamari Apartments (ひだまり荘, Hidamari-sō), near the school. There, it begins to make new friendly like his classmate Miyako and the students of second year, Hiro and Sae. There is no a concrete fill in history, but it relates the events of the everyday life of the personages while they go to the school and they try to know itself better.

Yuno (ゆの, Yuno)

Seiyuu: Kana Asumi

Yuno, sometimes call “Yunotchi” by Miyako, is a girl juguetona and the main protagonist of history. It lives in the Hidamari apartments, along with his friendly and neighbors Miyako, Hiro and Sae. Their friendly think that she is very good person. Yuno dreams someday about being a great artist. Although she is a talented artist generally, considers like painting and drawing her specialties.

Miyako (宮子, Miyako)

Seiyuu: Kaori Mizuhashi

Miyako is the near friend of Yuno, its companion and neighbor of habitaciòn contiguous in the apartments where they live. Yuno talks about to her like Miya-chan. It has an active personality and it always tries to amuse itself with his friendly. Its exuberance borders frequently in the childhood, but she is doubtlessly creative. She is very spontaneous and it cries out that the word “plan” does not exist in its dictionary. It enchants to him to eat and frequently it requests to Hiro his surpluses to him when it is in one of her diets. She, sometimes, note that Hiro is gaining weight, which is in a fist on the part of her. The energy of Miyako frequently excessive and is stipulated. Its rent is of 5,000 yens cheaper than the one of the other children because its apartment is in a poor man been, by which is lucky because it has less money than the other children of the apartments most of the times.

Hiro (ヒロ, Hiro)

Seiyuu: Yuko Goto

Hiro is a year greater than Yuno and Miyako, and lives directly under the apartment of Yuno. Although it tries to be a bearable companion of the girls, she tends to worry excessively about his weight, causing that she goes to diets per periods whereas she eats candies. Her companion of the childhood is Sae, and she is to whom appeals first when a limit of time or a crisis is.

Sae (沙英, Sae)

Seiyuu: Ryoko Shintani

Sae is a girl of a course superior, and good friend of Hiro. Their artistic specialties are to photograph and escitura of works of fiction; these last ones 橘文 writes under its pseudonym “Aya Tachibana” (, Tachibana Aya) and it register to the school indeed to learn to like illustrating his works. Sae, is high, athletic, and generally mature, although juguetón has a side that simultaneously can be enigmatic and intelligent; it has a habit to prevent to Yuno the sufficient thing about a potential problem before this one puts in them. Also it has ability of detective games when one is with a discrepancy like the apartment of Miyako. Sae tends to get upset with Miyako when she says to him that she has masculine qualities. Also it is put very uncomfortable when they ask his loving life to him, frequently inventing a history with each absurd thing, while one gets upset.

Sleeve

Cómic 4-koma (yonkoma, or of four panels) was serializado first in magazín sleeve seinen Sleeve Time Kirara Carat in April of the 2004, published by Houbunsha. Although it has not concluded, have published 2 volumes, first in October 27 of the 2005, and the second in December 27 of the 2006. The sleeve has been licensed in English by Yen Press under the title of Sunshine Sketch.

It animates

The adaptation animates of Hidamari Sketch was produced by the study of Shaft animation, and began to issue in Japan the 11 of January of the 2007. Its animation combines perpendicular and CGI-2D with frequent use of static photographies. Also it is an in sequence anachronistic series (that is to say, without chronological order, like Suzumiya Haruhi nonYūutsu); each episode takes place in a date during the first year from Yuno, but that day is chosen at random. In spite of it, the episodes are complemented thematically, with details seen in later episodes. Additionally, 2 special episodes were issued the 18 of October of the 2007.
