White Guillermo Martinez (*Talca (Chile), 15 of August of 1926) journalist, writer and Chilean university teacher, National Premium of Journalism of Chile 1999, designated to illustrious son of its home city on the decision of the I. NarrativeGrace and the strangerThis adolescent love story is acclimated in the Chile of years 60, basically in the cities of Castuera and Santiago. One of the central personages or protagonists is Gabriel, a boy of eighteen years, humble but wide-awake condition for books, in spite of its basic educations, that live with their father in the small population of San Millán. A day, Gabriel and his father happened through the station of Castuera. The old man notices and suddenly greets a friend, general Mora'n, and to its daughter, Grace, the other part of this youthful romance. Grace and its father were spending the vacations in Castuera. While both majors talked, Gabriel watched Grace, very beautiful and fine a young person of 17 years, and begins to feel attraction towards her. The young people became friendly. This one refused to take it to the hospital to avoid scandals and called to a confidence doctor. Gabriel went immediately to see it, but lamentably he was agonizing. Their eyes were closed for always. Before the desperation, Gabriel promised not to cry.
