El Salvador is a democratic republic that consists of 14 departments, located in Central, border America to the north with Honduras, the east with Guatemala, the west with Nicaragua and the south with the Pacific Ocean, its official name is Republic of El Salvador, is the country with more population density of Central America.

Pipil Mythology is a well-known cultural extension like Nahuatl, practiced by the Pipiles towns. The pipil religion was ligature to the life cycle, to the birth, life and death, also to the economic activities: the fighter aircraft, the fishing and agriculture. Associated to these activities they were the observation of the stars for the prediction of the cyclical phenomena of the nature and the adoration to these stars, rain, the lightning bolt, the thunderclap, etc.

The fundamental God of pipiles was Téotl. As secondary Gods were Quetzalcoatl and Itzqueye; in third plane So (Tezcatlipoca), and among others: Metzi (Metztli), Pitch (Tonatiuh), Chalchitlicue, Xipe Totec, Ehecat (Ehecatl), etc. According to the legend pipiles, they had followed the emperor tolteca-chichimeca EC Acatl Topiltzin, call Quetzalcoatl or Quetzalcoat, (in Nahuatl or pipil). In their flight of Tula to the being overthrown by the worshippers of Tezcatlipoca, pipiles in his lesyendas establishes that Quetzalcoat founded the cities of Tecpán Izalco (present Izalco and Caluco) and Cuzcatlán (present Old Cuscatlán. This city became the capital of the pipil kingdom or Señorío de Cuzcatlán), is why Quetzalcoatl becomes the main God of pipiles (to the equal as it is it Huitzilipolochtli in the Aztec religion).
