| The Basilica of Santa Maria of the Fiore is the cathedral, (Duomo, in Italian) of the Roman catholic archdiocese of Florence, notable by its canopy (aircraft). She is one of masterpieces of the gothic art and the first Italian Renaissance. Symbol of the wealth and the power of the Tuscan capital during centuries XIII and century XIV, the Florentine cathedral is one of the greatest buildings of the cristiandad.
