Acid folk
Acid folk or folk psicodélico is an originated musical sort in the decade of the '60 through the mixture between music folk, the Indie folk and psicodélico rock or MGP. CharacteristicsAcid folk prefers the acoustic instruments, although it also appears other instruments. It appears influences of old music and the folk music of individual countries. Known like the counterpart the rock, the Acid Folk has a peculiar atmospheric sound. Also Elephant Six includes in its rows artists like Neutral Milk Hotel, known by its sound Acid Folk. It completes generation of artists of I generate in the 2000 it includes Circulus, The Slant, Entrance, Devendra Banhart, Stupefies Diane, Alina Harden, Akron/Family, CocoRosie, Joanna Newsom, The Airy Fairy Gang (Ireland), Damien Youth, Lord Jeff, Jana Hunter, Espers, Vetiver, DeVotchKa, Faun Fables, Gwendolyn, Testface and Eyes and Arms of Smoke.
