An air crash is a disaster that involves one or more airplanes, as much commercial as the military.

Majors accidents

The worse air crash of the history of aviation happened in Tenerife, Spain the 27 of March of 1977. A KLM Jumbo took off without permission of a full fog airport while another Jumbo of Pan Am tried to leave there, both 747 hit in the landing field. Known as Desastre de Tenerife caused the death of 583 people.

The second worse aviation accident and also the worse one in involving an aircraft only happened the 12 of August of 1985. A Jumbo of Japan Air Lines underwent a decompression and lost the control. One crashed in Monte Osutaka, Japan. 520 people died.

The third worse aviation accident happened the 12 of November of 1996, when 747 of Saudi Arabian hit front in the air against an airplane IL-76 of Kazahkstan Airlines. 349 people died and is the worse mid-air collision of history.
