Birds amniotas of hot blood is a class of vertebrates, characterized to have the body covered of feathers, a tip without teeth (except in certain extinct birds) and the modified previous extremities like wings. All the birds reproduce by means of ova (are ovíparas) and all almost feeds their young. They descend evolutionarily from the dinosaurios, to which they conform, next to the present crocodiles, the group of the arcosaurios. The common ñandú (American Rhea) is a nonflying bird that belongs to the family of the reidos or Rheidae, also to him usually is called American ostrich, existing two main subspecies: the surí and choique being the second of these also known like ñandú petiso.
